Recount Writing:

Chat about something that has happened during the day or in the last few days. Make sure to discuss when it happened, who was there, where you were, what you were doing and why you were doing that. It might be a good idea to put this into a few simple sentences together.

For example: Yesterday my family and I were at St Anne’s Park. We went for a walk and to play a game of football. We had lots of fun.

On a blank piece of paper practise writing out as many ways as you can think of to add to 12 using two numbers or three numbers.

1 + 11 = 12

2 + 10 = 12

3 + 4 + 5 = 12

6 + 3 + 3 = 12
